Position Details
As an HRC, you will act as a true business partner for your assigned client group, helping them achieve their goals through supporting people strategies. You will provide expertise in all areas of HR, with an emphasis on Employee Relations, Recruitment, Talent and Change Management. This is an opportunity to work as part of a truly fantastic team!
Who You Are
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar HR capacity
- 3+ years direct recruiting experience; preferably in a competitive market place
- University degree, plus completion of CHRP or equivalent (strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated knowledge of HR principles, procedures, practices, relevant legislation, regulations, Labour/Employment law to provide consultation, expert advice and guidance to management
- Strong problem solving skills, the ability to determine root cause of complex issues and arrive at sound HR/Business solutions
- Able to deal with ambiguity and reprioritize tasks in response to unexpected changes in priorities/requests
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact at the executive, senior management, and non-executive levels of the organization and to deal effectively with external clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing schedules and priorities
- Intermediate to fluent-level English proficiency is required in addition to French, as this position involves communicating, both orally and in writing, with our internal clients, partners, and other Echelon Insurance Canada teams located across the country.
