Position Details
• Maintain existing broker relationships and seek opportunities to expand the broker relationship network
• Monitor portfolio performance, including retention rates, loss ratio and growth metrics
• Assist in the development, execution and reporting of strategic plans/business plans alongside relevant management teams and departments
• Development of tools, guides and other resources for our broker partners. This includes hosting presentations/training sessions, both virtual and in person.
• Represent Echelon team at a variety of industry trade shows and broker conventions coordinating with Marketing for these events
• Accountable for gathering and reporting market intelligence
• Address concerns and/or issues related to brokers quickly and effectively working closely with the business line(s)
• Assist in the strategic development of annual marketing plans
• Attend sales meetings and maintain communication with producers
• Develop strong working relationships with underwriters and carrier representatives

Who You Are
• College or University Degree in related field is required. Preferably in business administration or marketing with a practical knowledge of automobile insurance
• CIP designation or working towards completion preferred
• FCIP designation or working towards completion preferred
• A minimum of 3-5 years of industry related experience (P&C Insurance)
• Outstanding people skills, building trusted relationships for the long term
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written (i.e. presentation quality, positioning, spelling, grammar, etc.)
• Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Ability to self-motivate, work both independently as well as in a team environment
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow up skills
• A team player with a positive attitude to achieve excellent service delivery
