Position Details
The Senior Actuarial Analyst is a key contributor in evaluating the rates and profitability across all lines of business, helping in establishing the reserve and support the corporate planning at Echelon Insurance.
What You Will Do
- Perform rate adequacy assessments for Echelon Commercial Auto programs nationwide and make recommendations.
- Perform rate comparisons and other ad hoc pricing analyses.
- Work to establish loss reserves and produce the required reports.
- Provide occasional support to other actuarial function if required.
- Provide coaching to more junior team members
Who You Are
- University degree in actuarial science/statistics/math.
- Excellent Microsoft Office Suite, VBA , R , Qlikview, Python would be an asset
- Must have minimum of 3 years of actuarial experience
- Minimum of 6 actuarial exams
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills
- Competencies needed are adaptability, innovation , proactive, analytical skills and decision making
