This role is offered as a 2 year contract.

Position Details

What You Will Do The Bilingual Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the acquisition, development and retention of talent.
• Effectively manage full cycle recruitment 
• Source and attract candidates through identifying and using the latest recruitment tools and strategies; identify prospects through networking and other strategies to find qualified candidates
• Work collabortively with  internal and external stakeholders ensuring that the recruiting process runs smoothly
• Manage the successful, professional onboarding of new team members
• Define and promote activities and events to improve employee engagement/ satisfaction and build an outstanding corporate culture
• Contribute to other human resources related areas as needed
• Staying up-to-date on latest industry best practices and trends

 

Who You Are

• 4+ years of full cycle recruitment experience within the financial industry, property and casualty insurance experience is preferred
• Exposure to both a corporate Human Resources function and agency environment is preferred
• Attained or actively working towards the CHRP designation is preferred
• Post secondary education in Human Resources or Business Administration
• Excellent communication skills and able to build rapport 
• Excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle numerous positions simultaneously, at various stages through-out the recruitment process
• Good understanding and working knowledge of HR policies and procedures and employee relations
• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS software
• Strong understanding of employment legislation 
• An advanced level of English is required in addition to French, as this position involves communicating, both verbally and in writing,with our clients, partners, and other Echelon Insurance teams across the country on a regular basis.
